One of the many paths of the village ends at the so-called "castle" of the area. An ancient settlement that dates back to the Hellenistic period and seems to have been the acropolis of a city in Dolopi. At the top of the hill we observe the existence of a half-ruined enclosure of the walls that delimits the citadel in which the only 1.80m wide gate survives to this day. The construction of a building that would function for the military control of the area was foreseen

Lake Plastira is located in Agrafa, at an altitude of over 1000 meters, in the arms of a dense forest. It is a beautiful destination for holidays or getaways all year round. Lake Plastira was formed in 1959 with the completion of the dam on the river Tavropos and was named after General Nikolaos Plastiras, who was also the inspirer of the project.

The artificial lake Smokovo is located on the borders of the prefecture of Karditsa with the prefecture of Fthiotida and the road Kedros-Rentina-Karpenisi. It was created by covering areas of the Municipal Department of Ktimeni, the Municipality of Tamassi and Loutropigi of the Municipality of Menelaidos. In addition to the creation of the lake, the dam was constructed, which is stone-cut and has a length of 460m. about 104m high. It blocks the exit of the waters to the river "Onochonos" and is located at a distance of 30 km SE of Karditsa.

• Holy Monastery of Panagia Koroni and Holy Monastery of Panagia Pelekitis which are two of the most important monasteries in the area and their access is easy by car.
• Acheloos, which is crossed to Neochoria by manual cable car.
